Faith , real faith
Activate Your Faith
Christians talk about “faith” but few truly understand the real meaning. As long as everything is going great in their life - their “faith” is strong - but at the first sight of trouble - they jump on the worry wagon and faith is thrown out the window! You simply can not be pacing the floor, biting your nails, spending sleepless nights weighed down with worry - and have complete faith in God! Hebrews 11:1 sums up the meaning of faith, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” When your life is falling apart and you’re helpless to make things better - that’s when faith sustains you . . . knowing with absolute certainty you are in the hollow of God’s hand! It’s one thing to “know” you serve a trustworthy God - but when you actually witness faith in action - your love and trust is off the charts! Someone once said, “When God pushes you to the edge of difficulty - trust Him fully . . . because two things can happen - Either He’ll catch you when you fall, or He will teach you how to fly! That’s a powerful reality because our God is trustworthy, loving, all powerful, and wants what’s best for us - so there’s no need to worry when we allow God full control of our lives! Activate your faith today - and start by believing God will do what He says He will do . . . even in the bad times! Text: Matthew 17:20, Ephesians 2:8-9, Matthew 15:28, Mark 11:22-24

God is Always In Control
| |||
Faith is more than positive thinking. Positive thinking will NOT produce faith. Faith is trust in God, and the only way to develop faith is to learn to know God. Since He is trustworthy, as we learn to know Him, we spontaneously learn to trust Him. Faith is trusting God when things don't turn out the way we expect. God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Not those who seek merely His blessings, but those who seek Him, are the ones who find their reward. For He is the reward. You can't work on your righteousness - nor can you work on your faith. Both are gifts. Both are fruit. Both come as a result of knowing Jesus. And knowing Jesus comes as a result of spending time in communion and fellowship and relationship with Him. If you will come to Him, He will give you the genuine faith that you need. But when it comes to the Christian life, only one thing is required; that you come to Jesus, and that you keep coming to Him day by day. If you will keep coming to Him, God has made Himself responsible for taking care of everything else that needs to happen in your life. The rewards are great! You will find peace, joy, lack of fear for your safety, lack of fear for the future, calmness and self-control. Your life will never again feel like it's out of control. You will know that God is ALWAYS in control of your life. When you learn to "Know" God, you will trust Him completely, and you will truly be able to "Be anxious for NOTHING!" Philippians 4:6-7

God is my Strength
| |||
Psalm 73 is a favorite for many Christian believers because the words of this precious psalm ring true to their experience. In the midst of suffering believers often feel cheated and begin to question and doubt God’s goodness. Under these circumstances, Psalm 73 helps believers to be honest with God. Moreover, it helps them transition from radical doubt to a robust reaffirmation of faith. As such, it has proved to be an enduring source of comfort amidst suffering. All who commit themselves to God, shall be guided with the counsel both of his word and of his Spirit, the best counsellors here. The body will fail by sickness, age, and death; when the flesh fails, the conduct, courage, and comfort fail. But Christ Jesus, our Lord, offers to be all in all to every poor sinner, who renounces all other portions and confidences. By sin we are all far from God. May we draw near, and keep near, to our God, by faith and prayer, and find it good to do so.
